B-HART Membership brings together providers of disability services and users of disability services to promote and lead positive cultural change in the disability sector by elevating the understanding and application of human-centred and human rights-based approaches.

 

It is people with disabilities, as service users, who must be able to recognise the transformation through their experiences, while providers aspire to practices that will exceed the expectations of their service users.

The elevation of human rights-based approaches will be realised through a partnership that includes both users and providers of services to investigate experiences and innovate responses.

​Through B-HART Membership people with disabilities and providers of services can work together to transform understanding and practice. Membership is inclusive of people with disabilities, their families, providers, and general supporters. Membership ensures inclusiveness and collaboration, with opportunities for input to our evaluation framework for learning and future development of B-HART services and more generally human rights-based approaches.
